Romsey Town U18's 7 Cherbourg 1

After an even start to the game Romsey took control, and took the lead through Joe Urquhart. Romsey went two up when fine play from Tom O'Meara, whose cross was unfortunately knocked into his own net by a Cherbourg defender. Romsey had chances to increase their lead but both Sam Melin and Josh Barnes failed to convert their chances. Romsey's defence of James France-Sargeant, Liam Ward and Josh Lilse stood firm allowing Romsey's goalkeeper Nathan Bundy to have a quiet half.

In the second half after a rare attack by Cherbourg they pulled one back. Romsey once again took control and went further ahead when Joe Urquart slotted home a second. Good interplay from Ethan James and Josh Wilson allowed Joe Urquart to complete his hat trick. Perry Harding scored a well deserved goal to make it 5-1. Then the impressive Joe Urquart scored his forth from close range. Excellent one touch football involving Sam Melin and Perry Harding allowed Josh Wilson to complete the scoring.
